Trisha Krishnan was born on 4 May 1983. She is known mononymously as Trisha, is a movie actress and model, who mainly works in the South Indian film industries, where she’s created herself as a leading performer. Trisha was found after winning several beauty pageants like the Miss Madras contest (1999), which indicated her entry into filmdom. She had her first lead role in the 2002 movie Mounam Pesiyadhe after appearing in a supporting part in the 1999 Tamil movie Jodi.

She afterwards grew to fame starring in the successful movies, Saamy (2003) and Ghilli (2004) in Tamil film and Varsham (2004) in Telugu cinema.  The actress procured her first South Filmfare Best Actress Award. Trisha went on to win the award two more times for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005) and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule (2007). In Khatta Meetha, she made her Bollywood introduction in 2010. She was found in her career best performances in Abhiyum Naanum (2008) and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010). Trisha won Vijay Award for Favourite Heroine and was nominated for Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award.Trisha was born to Krishnan and Uma in Chennai (then called Madras) into a family, whose Tamil talking ancestors hailed from the Palakkad area of Kerala. Triha School/College | Education

She finished education at the Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai, and afterwards pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) class at the Ethiraj College for Women (Chennai). Trisha appeared in several print and television advertisements and ventured into modelling. In 1999, she won the “Miss Salem” beauty pageant, and after the same year, the Miss Madras competition. She’d also won the Miss India 2001 pageant’s “Beautiful Smile” award. Trisha resisted the idea of pursuing playing, and had aspired to become a criminal psychologist initially, as she needed to finish her studies. She also appeared in the music video of Falguni Pathak Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye as the buddy of Ayesha Takia.

Indian film director Priyadarshan, which indicated the start of her professional career as an actress afterwards approached for an acting part in Tamil picture Lesa Lesa her. With a tight shooting schedule, which made it hard to continue with her schooling, she’d occupied herself during her school class. Nevertheless, she compensated by attending summer courses.
