Jr NTR is the grandson of N. T. Rama Rao. He performed as child artist starred in Ramayanam, which won the National Film Award. He reached his breakthrough success in 2001 with the hit Student No.1. Bala Ramayanam is a mythological film directed by Gunasekhar released in the year 1996. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. played Lord Rama role. The film received  National Film Award for best children’s film.

Student No.1  starring Jr NTR and Gajala. The debut flick for director S.S. Rajamouli. This film turned a hit for both the actor and the director. Student No.1 is a breakthrough of Jr. NTR.

Simhadri is a action, sentimental masala film directed by SS Rajamouli. The film stars Jr. NTR, Ankitha, Bhoomika Chawla in lead roles.  The film was released in the year 2003 and declared as hit.

Rakhi is a drama thriller film directed by Krishna Vamsi. This film was released on 22 December 2006 with good response from all the centers. NTR and Ileana played in the lead roles.

Temper is a action  by Puri Jagannadh starring NTR Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. This is one of the best film in NTR career and was a blockbuster in TFI. The movie was released on 13th February 2015 with positive talk from all Telugu audience.
